Nancy Rubino

On Saturday, June 10, 2023, Nancy L. Rubino, loving mother of three children passed away at age 78. Nancy was born on November 11, 1944, in Lakewood, NJ to Emmett and Helene Wright. She was an artist working in the field of ceramics and painting. Additionally, she was a caregiver to many elderly friends and a bus aid for the Toms River Schools system. On December 10, 1966, she married Albert F. Rubino and raised three daughters, Cindy, Diana, and Patty.

Nancy was a fun-loving person who was always smiling. She loved to travel with her daughter Patty. She was a member of the American Legion, Elks, and Moose Lodge. Anyone who knows Nancy knows that her beverage of choice was merlot wine with ice. She was very kind and generous to everyone and often gave her time helping out others by driving them to appointments or just spending time with people who didn’t have family left. She loved her family deeply and was very proud of her three daughters and all of her grandchildren, Carly, Mark, and Trevor. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Emmett Wright, her mother, Helene Dangelite, her husband, Albert Rubino, and her brother, Ronald J. Wright. She is survived by her nephews, James Wright and Ronnie Wright, Ed.D. as well as James’ children Kristen, Connor, Kaila, Cassidy, MacKenzie, Sam, and Jack.

A visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell at 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753 on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 11:00 am at Ocean County Memorial Park at 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
