Nancy Lynne Skidmore, 68, of Highlands, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at home. Born in Lakewood, she lived in Whiting before moving to Highlands in 2000. A dedicated alumna of William Smith College in Geneva, NY, Nancy was a piano teacher for hundreds of students over several decades. She was an avid reader, a passionate supporter of the performing arts, and a lifelong Yankee fan.
She was predeceased by her parents Mabel and Rev. Richard Skidmore and her former husband Rev. Wayne Reynolds. She is survived by her two sisters Carol and Janet, her beloved children Amy Reynolds and Benjamin Reynolds, and her daughter-in-law Stephanie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 213 Madison Ave., Lakewood. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lakewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pinelands Preservation Alliance, www.pinelandsalliance.org, in memory of Nancy.
