

Neil Torian Van De Putte, 25, of Toms River, NJ, passed away after a tragic accident July 5, 2015. He was born in Omaha, NE, on March 11, 1990. He was a Physics Major and Math Minor at Drew University set for graduation in 2016 and maintained a 4.0 GPA. He was recently awarded the Marshall C. Harrington Prize in Physics and Astronomy for an outstanding physics research project.
He is survived by his sister, Alyse Van De Putte, his step brothers and sisters- Eric Sharkey, Brian Sharkey, Jesse Clark, Trevor Aldridge, Angela Aldridge, his mother, Yvonne Yaar-Sharkey (Dennis Sharkey), his father, Chris Van De Putte (Karen D’Angelo). He is also survived by his grandmothers, Ann Yaar and Gladys Van De Putte and many loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. A service to celebrate Neil’s life will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home. Cremation will private.
