

Born Nickelos E. Angelos in Brooklyn New York. He was married to Hope Angelos his childhood sweetheart for 63 years before she passed away.
Buddy Angelos was the beloved father of Glen and his wife Frances, Gregory, Kenneth and his wife Cathy, and Gene and his wife Michele. He was a loving grandfather to four grandchildren: Brittney, Devin, Ryan and Michael. He was a great brother to his sister Elizabeth Guido and brother-in-law to Louis Guido. He was also a great brother-in-law to Raymond and Mary Ellen Lennon. Amongst his niece, nephews and his beloved friends; he will be surely missed.
He was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and received a number of medals for his time served in the Korean War. As a family, we were very proud of him.
Buddy was a great husband, father and friend. He was the type of man who would do anything to try to help you. He loved telling jokes, so he could make you laugh and smile. The jokes were corny, but he always left you smiling. He also worked hard for 48 long years to make sure he was a good provider for his family. As children, he made sure we always had everything we could ever want. He liked having family gatherings, going to the beach, and doing crossword puzzles. He also enjoyed going to concerts and movies with his best friends Sue and Stan. He especially enjoyed his Saturday nights when he and his wife would have their date night on Saturday nights.
He had a life well lived with love and happiness surrounding him. He will be deeply missed.
A Committal Service followed by Military Honors will be held on February 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
