Born in Lima, Peru, she came to the US in 1969, settling in Washington, DC.
She lived in Chicago and West Palm Neach, FL before settling in Holiday City in 2017.
Mrs. Marin worked for the Organization of American States in Washington, DC for ten years, and later worked at the Mexican Embassy for five years.
She later worked as a medical biller for St. Inez Hospital, Chicago, and at Conifer in Boca Raton, FL before retiring in 2016.
Mrs. Marin was predeceased by two children, Pablo in 1984, and Paola in 1986.
She is survived by her husband, Luis; and her siblings, Adrianna, Berta, Ibis, and Sonia.
Visitation will be Friday, August 9, 2019 from 7-9 at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Toms River.
Cremation will be private.
