

Pasquale “Pat” Zazzara, 81, of Berkeley Township, NJ, passed away on March 10, 2016, at home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Plainfield, NJ, later moving to Toms River in 1972. Pat began his career as a Realtor/Broker, and then became a residential home builder. In his later years, he was known as the “Attic Stair Man” due to his business replacing and installing attic stairs. He was a past member of the Italian American Club in North Plainfield and Toms River. He enjoyed his trips to Atlantic City, card games, and going to Bingo. Most of all, Pat loved spending time with his family and friends and having a good time.
Pat was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Candida Zazzara; his daughter Vicky Lynn Zazzara; his brothers: Joseph, John, and Anthony Zazzara; and his sister Rose Pasquarello. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 40 years, Virginia Constandi Zazzara, his daughter LuAnn Moore and her husband Tom, and his step-son Franklin Pasquarello Jr.; his two brothers: Phil and Louis Zazzara; and his three sisters: Marie DiMura, Jeanette Cassaro, and Linda Calv. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Michelle South and her husband Alan, Kenneth Pollin III and his wife Lorraine, Taryn Moore, and Nicholas Pasquarello; and his great-grandchildren: Leonard, Ella, AnnaLynne, and Mia; and many wonderful friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Final visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00AM to 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Joseph Church on Hooper Avenue in Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery on Cedar Grove Road in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Pat’s name to Holisticare Hospice, 1144 Hooper Avenue, Suite 208, Toms River, NJ 08753.
