Sam worked for the Ocean County Courthouse as well as the department of Public Works in Island Heights. Upon retiring from Island Heights you could
find Sam down by the docks in Island Heights fishing and shooting the breeze with his fishing buddies. Sam also enjoyed his love of Duck Carving in his spare time.
He is preceded in death by his only sibling, Mildred Brahn; and his nephew, Edward Brahn.
He is survived by his niece, Virginia Cain, as well as several great nieces and nephews.A memorial for Sam will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services in Toms River, NJ.
