Born in Newark, he lived in Belleville for most of his life before settling in Holiday City Berkeley in 2003.
Mr. Arancio was a bookkeeper for Public Service Electric & Gas, Secaucus prior to retiring in 1990.
He then worked for many years as a tax preparer, first for Jackson-Hewitt and later on his own.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille; his children, Frank and his wife Loraine of Lyndhurst, Lawrence and his wife Tracy of Brick; and Peter and his wife Pamela of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Janeen Holland her husband James; and Gerard and Jennifer Arancio; and a sister, Josephine Corra of Woodbridge.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 8:30p m at the funeral home.
Interment, with military honors, will take place at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 1pm.
