Pete worked for Carson Helicopters and Van Sant Airport, along with many other jobs in between. Pete enjoyed the outdoors with a passion for flying and boating. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, including Crescent Beach in FL and especially Long Beach Island in NJ, with his family. He had so many stories to tell to anyone that would listen and they were all true! At a young age, he rode his bike to Pennridge Airport to take flying lessons to become a pilot. At age 15, Pete and a friend rode their bicycles to Chincoteague, VA camping along the way. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and helping his dad around the farm. He enjoyed bird watching and metal detecting on the farm. He loved listening to music, watching videos and making people laugh. He enjoyed reminiscing for hours, with his brother Stevey, about childhood memories and giving his son, Petey, new ideas for his books and just life itself. He lived a full life filled with excitement which included rafting the Grand Canyon, riding his motorcycle to Sturgis, flying his plane, just to mention a few. Pete had a big heart, was good natured, and an all around good guy. He could make you feel better on your worst day. Pete was a friend to all and was willing to help anyone in need.
