Peter J. Gioello

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Peter J. Gioello, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. Peter passed away peacefully on February 23rd, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Peter was a devoted father to his three sons, Peter, Joseph, and Matthew, and a proud and loving grandfather to his grandson Peter and granddaughter Julianna. He cherished every moment spent with his family and took great joy in watching his grandchildren grow.

He found happiness in fishing, spending time with friends and family, and celebrating life’s good moments. Known for his warm and welcoming nature, Peter was affectionately considered the “crew dad” by his children’s friends—always opening his home and heart to those around him. Whether traveling to be part of a celebration or hosting gatherings at his beautiful home, he made sure that joy was always shared.

His kindness, generosity, and love for bringing people together will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those whose lives he touched.

A service to honor Peter’s life will be held on Saturday, March 1st, from noon to 4:00 p.m. at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home on 703 Main St, Toms River. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating the incredible man he was.
