Peter C. Powell

Peter was born in Union, New Jersey and has resided for many years at the Jersey Shore. Currently Peter and partner, Joan McCall, have resided in their home in Manchester for the last 15 years. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Powell (Roberson) and father, David Powell, Sr. Peter is survived by his son, Nicholas, of Georgia; sister, Emily McCarthy (née Powell) and husband, Peter of New Mexico; older brother, David Powell, Jr. of Florida; and nephews, David and James of New Jersey. 

Peter loved puttering around the house ("doing his chores; keeping out of trouble") and spending time with loved ones and friends. He always looked forward to his yearly weekend camping trip with his son. He loved taking long, daily walks with his dog, Baby, and helping all his neighbors with little tasks and projects. Peter put everyone else's needs before his own. He will be sadly missed by all. 

A repass is being planned for a later date to celebrate Peter's life. “See you at the campsite!”
