Philip V. Ciaravino

November 10, 1941  -  December 15, 2020 (age 79)

Philip Ciaravino, 79, of Toms River NJ, Passed away on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, NJ.  Born in Brooklyn NY,  he lived in Belleville, NJ before moving to Toms River, NJ in 1979. He was a US Navy veteran and worked as conductor for the Railroad for 39 years before retiring in 2001. Philip was an active member at St. Justin's Church in Toms River, NJ.  He was full of life, he enjoyed fishing, traveling,  and most of all spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Marion (Criscion) Ciaravino.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years Cecila (Boitano) Ciaravino and his 3 Sons Christopher Ciaravino and wife Denise of Whiting, NJ, Michael Ciaravino of Toms River, NJ and Joseph Ciaravino and wife Jennifer of Toms River, NJ as well as his 3 grandchildren  Chase Ciaravino, Isabella Ciaravino, Aiden Ciaravino, and a Step Grand-daughter Jessica Occhipinti.  Also surviving are his two sisters, Barbara Michele, Smithtown, NY and Patricia Ferreira, Bethleam, PA.

The family will receive relatives and friends for a memorial gathering on Saturday Nov, 20, 2021 from 2 to 4 at Horizon Funeral Home, 1329 Route 37 Toms River NJ.  A funeral service will be celebrated at 4pm at the funeral home.

Masks are required in the funeral home.
