Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Mr. Mitchell spent most of his life in Toms River.
Surviving are his loving wife, Elaine; children, Karen Minervini and her husband, Mark, Michael Mitchell, and Dean Mitchell, all of Toms River; grandchildren, Mark Minervini Jr and his wife, Kimberly, Christine Minervini, Keirstin Anderson, and Evan Mitchell; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM on Monday, May 23, 2016 and again on Tuesday, May 24
from 8 to 9 AM with services starting at 9 AM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 AM at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Avenue, Toms River. Burial will take place immediately following at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
