Phyllis I. Gornelli

Phyllis Gornelli, age 92 of Berkeley Township, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October 3, 2021. Phyllis was known for her sweet, loving, and caring personality. She was a devoted wife to her beloved late husband Robert. She enjoyed working for Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company where she spent 25 years of her life. Phyllis was a truly selfless person, and she will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Phyllis, is survived by her daughters, Patty Cifelli (Rocco), Kathy Hagen (Michael), Sandy DeAngelis (Steven), eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild as well as many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Raimo and Mary Raimo (nee Napotano); daughter, Barbara Arduino (Dominick); sister, Angela Perry; and her brother, Victor Raimo.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Phyllis to, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital  stjude.org/memorial  or a tree may be planted.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Phyllis’s visitation on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 2pm to 6pm at the Horizon Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 1329 Rt 37 West, Toms River, NJ.
