

Born and raised in Brown, WV, Ray came to New Jersey after serving in the United States Army. He was employed as a Heavy Construction Foreman for 40 years working for Sambol Construction, Toms River, before retiring in 2000. Ray was a Lifetime Member of the Lacey Elks #2518 and was a member of Fish Hawks Salt Water Anglers, Lacey Twp.
He was predeceased by his parents and seven siblings. Ray is survived by his wife Mary (DiDonna) Bragg; his children Barbara (Glen), Donald (Tracy), Raymond (Dana), Tommy (Erin) ,Brian (Gabrielle) and his sister Glenna Hall. He is also survived by his grandchildren Gregory (Danielle), Amanda (Kevin), Tyler, Raechel, Chloe, Kylee, Connor, Quinn and Hayley; and his great grandchildren Noah, Logan and Lily.
A visitation for Raymond will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. An Elks service will occur Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 3:45 PM. A committal service will occur Monday, April 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery, 1359 S. Pike St., Shinnston, WV 26431.
