Robert Myhre

Robert Myhre, 69, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bayonne, NJ, he lived there before moving to Toms River in 1982. Robert was a merchant marine, working with Texaco Marine in NY for over 20 years and several other companies before his retirement. Robert enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing and spending time with his cherished family.

He was predeceased by his parents Nils and Margaret Myhre, his beloved wife Lucine and his son Matthew. Surviving are his children Luke and his wife Jenna, Margaret Koren and her husband Nicholas, Robert Myhre and Kimberly Mackay; his brother John Myhre and sister Ann Leavy; and his adored grandchildren Jakson and Lucy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at St. Joseph Mausoleum Chapel at St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Cedar Grove Road in Toms River.
