Ron "Ronnie" Kessler

Ron is survived by Lauren, his loving wife of 41 years; sons Erik and Shawn and their wives, Caitlin and Lindsay; three grandsons Weston, Cameron and Cooper, who adored him. He is also survived by his sisters Peggy Swirbell and Nancy Phalanukorn, along with a close circle of lifelong friends who were like family.

Affectionately known as Ron or Ronnie, Red, or Pa. He spent many years as a dedicated public servant with the Ocean County Utilities Authority. Earlier in his career, he worked at Singer, repairing sewing machines and spent years building the cable television infrastructure where he gained more life long friendships.

Ronnie was known for his meticulous care of his home and yard, taking great pride in every detail, often with an ice cold Budweiser in his hand. He especially cherished time spent with family and friends.

He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, the loyalty he showed to his friends, strong opinions and the love and laughter he brought into the lives of all who knew him.

A memorial gathering for Ron will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753.
