Ronald Craig Watson Sr, 75, of Lanoka Harbor, passed away at Southern Ocean County Hospital on Tuesday May 31, 2023. Born in Montclair, NJ, he lived in Verona, NJ and Brick, NJ before moving to Lanoka Harbor in 1970.
Ron didn't care much for high school, instead deciding to enlist in the Navy in 1965. After proudly serving his country until 1968, he worked as a telephone lineman until his retirement. In his leisure time, Ron enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ron is predeceased by his parents, William & Theresa Watson; his son Craig Watson; and his loving wife of 52 years, Clare Watson. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Mundy (husband, Steven); and grandchildren, Casey & Corinne Mundy.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, June 9th at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's memory can be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
