Rose Marie Nutt

Rose Marie Nutt, age 84,  of Toms River, NJ passed away at Community Medical Center on March 18, 2024 surrounded by loving family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Born in Passaic, She lived in Passaic before moving to Toms River in the mid 1970s.

Mom was a woman who loved her family. She and her husband met in the late 70’s and have been inseparable ever since. They blended a family of 7 and spent  45 years together, always going on adventures and making memories.  She loved checking in on her children, grandchildren, and having her great grandchildren come visit. Her and her husband frequented Atlantic City for some fun quality couple time, took trips up to Pennsylvania to see their grandkids when they were young, and curated their home to make it their sanctuary. She spent her evenings on the phone with her children, always checking in and offering motherly advice. Her role as a mother never stopped and was of the utmost importance to her. She will be missed by many and was truly loved by her family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Florence Minutella 

She is survived by her beloved husband Frank; children, Frank John and Drew Murphy, Helen Applegate (Arthur-Spouse), Frank Nutt, and Susan Nutt; grandchildren, Ryan Applegate (Tessa-Spouse),  Ashley Applegate,  Aaron Nutt; great-grandchildren: Ellie Kay, Hallie Ryan, and Sophie Mae Applegate

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her memorial gathering on Monday, March 25, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm with a service to follow at 4pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 1329 Rt. 37 West Toms River, NJ 08755.
