Rose Pridgen, a lifelong resident of Jersey City, received her bachelor’s degree in urban studies and education from Saint Peters College. She taught at Jersey City Public Schools for over 15 years before being unable to continue to work. Rose was a lover of music. She was once in a band where she was the lead singer. Rose was also an artist. She had a love for all things art. She passed all this knowledge on to her children before being called home on September 5th, 2021.
Rose is survived by her three children, Billy Pridgen, Themyra Pridgen, and Saleem Pridgen, 7 grandchildren, and countless nieces, and nephews.
