Rosemary Costello 81, of Little Egg Harbor Township NJ, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2020. She was born in Brooklyn NY to the late John and Elizabeth Tribolati. Rosemary lived in Staten Island, NY, moving to Barnegat NJ 25 years ago. It was common knowledge that Rosemary loved watching her game shows, Jeopardy and The Wheel of Fortune. You couldn’t even try to contact her when her game shows were on. If she wasn’t watching her game shows she had the TV tuned to the Cooking Channel fantasizing about what she would cook. While living in Barnegat she was a faithful parishioner of St Mary’s Parish. Rosemary was very proud of her family, especially the fact that she was a grandmother to her ten grandchildren. Rosemary was predeceased by her first husband Frank Golding in 1989 and her second husband William Costello in 2012. She is survived by her children; Celeste Golding, Bettiann Minenna, Joan Russo and her husband Luigi, and Kevin Golding and his wife Lisa. She was also survived by her grandchildren; Andrew and his wife Whitney, Jonathan and his wife Kathryn, Gregory and his wife Allison, Michael, Daniel, Gianluca, Katie, Christopher, Eddie, and Ryan. She was overjoyed to learn that Jonathan and Kathryn are expecting her first great grandchild. She was also survived by her brother Ted Tribolati and his wife Marilyn, and her sister Joan Dwyer, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday October 13, from 4 to 8 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home 703 Main Street Toms River NJ 08753. Social distancing will be practiced. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday October 14, at 11 AM, at St. Mary’s Parish 747 West Bay Ave Barnegat. A private committal service will be on Thursday October 15, at St Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale Long Island NY. I was one of Rosemary's caregivers for a little over two years, and I absolutely adored her. She would crack me up with some of the things she said. She'd constantly ask me about my life and how my family was- she genuinely cared about me, and I her. She talked about her wonderful family and her love for cooking often. She told me she loved me everyday- she had a great heart. She was a creature of habit; I am too, so we got along. I knew her routines better than my own. In the time I spent with her, she made an impression on my life. I'm grateful to have known her and am better for it. I thank God to have had that privilege.
