

Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Hudec lived in Old Bridge from 1978 until 1998, when he moved to Manchester.
A United States Navy Veteran, Mr. Hudec was a Vice President at National Community Bank, Maywood, and was later Facilities Manager for the Ocean County Utilities Authority until retiring in 2011.
An avid sportsman, Mr. Hudec enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club, and was a Hunter Safety Instructor for the State of New Jersey Division of Fish and Game.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Ambrose Council 6424, Old Bridge.
He was predeceased by his Brother, Robert, in 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; his son, Roy Hudec Jr. of Manchester; his daughter Debra Markoski and her husband Ken of Brick; six grandchildren, Olivia, Brian, Rory, Jordan, Marcello, and Rachel; two brothers, Donald Hudec and his wife Susan, and Frank Hudec and his wife Linda, all of Staten Island; his sister, Barbara Kitaeff of Somers, NY; and his brother-in-law, Edward Burch of Long Island, NY.
Visitation will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9, and on Tuesday from 10-11am at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
Funeral services will be offered at 10:45 am at the funeral home, followed by private cremation.
Interment of cremains with Military Honors will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
