Born in West Pittston, Pennsylvania, Ruth worked for Gulton Industries in Metuchen.
Mrs. Stocker was predeceased by her husband, John W. Stocker; parents, Benjamin and Maude Armstrong, and her sister, Grace Huffsmith. Surviving are her children, Ruth Rykowski and Leslie Larangeira and her husband, Anthony; grandchildren Tracy and Lori Rykowski; great grandchildren Andy and Abigail Laczi and Kayla and Jacob Takitch; sister, Elizabeth Nelson, and many loving family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 4PM to 8PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, with a service beginning at 7:30. Interment will take place on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11AM at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
