

She spent her early childhood living in Newark, New Jersey in a three-story home that she remembered very fondly. Due to the dangerous environment resulting from the riots of the late 1960’s, her parents relocated their family to Lakewood, New Jersey. She later attended Kean University and soon after she pursued a career in social work. She ended her career working at Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Plant.
She met and married Mitchell Cox and had her first daughter, Jamie. After her divorce from Mitchell, she met Joseph Addison while working at Oyster Creek. She married Joseph and from that union, had her second daughter, Tara.
She spent her later years married to Lavern Smith. Their marriage brought love, comfort and companionship to her life that was already filled with joy. This union also included her bonus daughter Zondra Smith, whom she adored as her own.
Sabrina enjoyed selling items at the local flea market and later expanded into ecommerce. She owned and operated a thrift store called Sabrina’s Thrift Shop, where she sold a multitude of items from designer pocketbooks to brand name clothes and shoes. She also had a jewelry store called AC Collections, where she sold high-end jewelry.
Her favorite past time by far was spending time with her family. Her daughters and granddaughters affectionally called her GiGi and her nieces and nephews called her Aunt Bia. She absolutely loved traveling and her favorite destination was Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. She delighted in the magic of Disney World. Returning often with her daughters, her sister and her beloved grandchildren. Finding pure joy in sharing moments with the people she loved most.
Sabrina loved the Lord and her faith was strong. Many experienced her motherly spirit. There are countless memories shared by those that knew and loved her. Sabrina leaves to cherish her memory two daughters and a bonus daughter, Jamie Benea’ Sanchez, Tara Michelle Addison and Zondra Smith; six grandchildren, Bri’Shauna Brinashea Brown, Bianca
Brizoria Brown, Brazil Jaelyn Briamara Brown, Griffin Luisa Valentina Sanchez, Martin Giovanni Addison, Princeton Neko-Sky Addison as well as a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A visitation will be held at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, located at 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ, 08753, on December 30, 2025, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
The committal service is scheduled for December 30, 2025, at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ, 08562, from 2:00 pm to 2:15 pm.
