Selma E. Cheringal

Born in Union City, NJ she also lived many years in Howell, before retiring to Manchester Township several years ago.

She was a self employed dog breeder, and was a member of the American Kennel Club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Mary (nee: Kilmartin) Lavin; her husband, Albert Cheringal;

her son, Gary; and her grandson Vincent D'Agostino.

Surviving are her daughters, Gwen Struz, and Leslie Mills and her husband Jeff; Grandchildren: Pat D'Agostino, Gloria Ruffino, Eric Mills, Jennifer Mills, and Jayne Randall; 10 great-grandchildren, Desiree Ruffino, Kara Ruffino, Louis Ruffino, Joshua Nilsen, Vincent D'Agostino, Kaydence D'Agostino, Kendall D'Agostino, Matthew Randall, Andrew Popan and Joseph Popan; two brothers, Warren and Donald Lavin, and a sister Joan Mathias.

Mrs. Cheringal will be buried with her husband at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 11AM.
