

Severino “Sam” Fabbo, age 70 of Island Heights passed away peacefully Sunday, August 26, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Orange, NJ, he resided in Colonia for 25 years before coming to Island Heights in 2001.
Sam started his career as a Maintenance Mechanic with Triangle Tool of Union, and went on to work for Rheometrics Scientific in Piscataway until his retirement. He was extremely proud of his service with the United States Marine Corp. Sam was a dedicated Volunteer with the Little Fellows of Colonia. He enjoyed traveling the world with his wife Barbara. He was an avid Craftsman, Gardner, Fisherman and Cook, who enjoyed spending time with his loving wife, children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his Loving wife of 46 years Barbara (DePasquale) Fabbo; Beloved Son John and his wife Lynda, of West Milford, NJ, Loving daughters, Joanne Moss and husband Jim, Monroe, NJ and Jennifer Fabbo, of Toms River; Cherished grandchildren: Joseph, Lauren, Nicholas, Louis, Julia and Sofia; his two brothers, Frederick and his wife Carol of Massachusetts, Stephen and his wife Teresa of Edison, NJ and one sister, Olivia Fabbo of Rahway, NJ. Survived also by his Loyal Lifelong Friends.
Visiting will be held on Wednesday, 4:00 to8:00 p.m. at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River, NJ. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow to the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations in his name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
