Born in Jersey City, she grew up in Lyndhurst and lived in Fairfield before moving to the shore area over 30 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, Ms. Bufano was a secretary for many years.
A wonderful and loving mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Stacy D'Amore of Lavalette; two grandchildren, Bryce and Morgan; her son, Damon D'Amore of Los Angeles, CA; a sister, Joan D'Andrea and a brother, Bruce Bufano.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
Cremation will be private.
