Shirley Marie Whitehead

Shirley Marie Whitehead, 63, of Lakehurst, NJ, passed away on November 12, 2014, at Community Medical Center, in Toms River, NJ. She was a lifelong resident of Lakehurst and graduate of Central Regional High School. From 1980-2012 she was employed at Country Manor at Dover (now known as Hampton Ridge) as a Nurse’s Aide and, in later years, as a Unit Clerk. She loved to crochet and make gifts for her friends and family. Shirley loved spending time with her family, especially the pride and joy of her life, her beloved grandchildren.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Mildred Algor, and her wonderful husband Robert Whitehead, who passed away in 1996. She is survived by her loving daughter Michelle Genieczko and her husband Kenneth and her two cherished grandchildren Joseph and Grace.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 18, from 2-4 and 7-9PM, at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. There will be a service on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11AM. Burial will be immediately following at Good Luck Cemetery in Lanoka Harbor, NJ.
