Theodore J Siecker Jr.

Teddy was born on December 22, 1948, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, eldest of four, to the late Theodore John Siecker, Sr. and Gezella Siecker. In the 1960s, he moved to Hagerstown, Maryland, before eventually making his way to New Jersey in the 1970s. It was there that he met the love of his life, Christina. They married and shared 52 wonderful years together, building a life filled with love, laughter, family, and countless memories.

Teddy was a hardworking man who took great pride in his ability to work with his hands and fix nearly anything. He spent almost 20 years as a master auto body mechanic for Chevrolet before working for several years as a maintenance worker at Cedar Glen West. His mechanical talent and creativity carried into one of his favorite hobbies—restoring and painting classic cars. He loved bringing old cars back to life and was always happy to share his knowledge and skills with others.

When he wasn't working on a project or spending time with family, Teddy enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a longtime fan of his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt. He also enjoyed collecting NASCAR memorabilia and building elaborate train displays. Whether he was watching a race, attending a family event or working on one of his many projects. Teddy was known for his wonderful sense of humor and larger-than-life personality. He loved sitting around telling stories, sharing jokes, and making people laugh with his unforgettable funny faces. His warm personality made people feel comfortable and welcome. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Teddy enjoyed the simple moments that brought people together.

He was a devoted husband and father who was always there to support his children. Teddy coached his son and daughter in Beachwood-Pine Beach Little League baseball and softball and could often be found on the sidelines or in the stands cheering them on. As his family grew, he became just as devoted to his grandchildren, proudly attending their many sports games, competitions, and other activities. He treasured watching each of them grow and was always eager to celebrate their accomplishments.

Teddy leaves behind more than a lifetime of memories. He leaves behind stories that will continue to be told, laughter that will be remembered, and lessons that will be carried forward by the people who loved him. Above all, his family will remember the importance he placed on being there for one another, helping others, and making the most of every day.

Teddy will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 52 years, Christina Ruth Siecker; his children, Dawn Fischer and her husband, Paul, of Toms River, NJ, Brian John Siecker of Waterford, NJ and Tiffany Williams and her husband, Dan, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ.

He was the proud grandfather of Brianna Petrone; Emerson, Brayden and Addison Siecker; and Alex, Caitlyn, and Ella Fischer.

He is also survived by his brother, David Siecker, and his wife, Kathy, of Hagerstown, MD, and his sister, Debra Bache of Delaware, along with several nephews, one niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore John Siecker, Sr. and Gezella Siecker, and his brother, Larry Siecker.

Family and friends are invited to Horizon Funeral Home on Thursday September 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., located at 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. On Friday, September 25, a visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a religious service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Teddy’s memory to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center’s Pancreatic Cancer Center., if desired.
