Theresa F Raguseo, 95, was born on November 24, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, and died on August 11, 2026. A resident of Toms River, New Jersey, Theresa will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Theresa was a beloved presence—steady in her care for others and devoted in the quiet, meaningful ways that define a life well lived. She found joy in the comforts of home and the warmth of togetherness, and those closest to her knew they could count on her constancy and love.
Theresa especially enjoyed cooking Italian food, a gift she shared through meals that brought people to the table and made ordinary days feel special. She also took pleasure in working crossword puzzles, playing games, dancing, and animals—simple joys that reflected her attentive spirit and the grace with which she moved through life.
Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Frank and her son, Albert. She is survived by her son, Joseph R. Raguseo and his wife, Mary; Five Grandchildren; Three Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755, US, on August 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755, US, on August 15, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a Committal Service at Ocean County Memorial Park Association, Silverton Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753, US, on August 15, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
Theresa’s final resting place is Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ocean County ASPCA in Theresa's memory.
