Tracey DeCesare

Tracey was born on March 17, 1970, in South Plainfield, NJ. Tracey was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and devoted friend to many. With profound passion and empathy towards animals, adopting and fostering those in need. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening, painting, and long walks along the shoreline whenever she had the opportunity.

She is survived by her daughter, Sophia Jacqueline DeCesare-her pride and joy-of Howell, NJ; her loving mother, Carole (Stewart) Dittus, of Toms River, NJ; her sister and brother-in-law Michelle and Daniel Guthrie of Toms River, NJ; her niece, Taylor Guthrie of Toms River, NJ; her stepmother, Janice Dittus and stepbrother, Michael Dittus, both of Barefoot Bay, Florida; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, and California.

Tracey was predeceased by her father, William Dittus of Barefoot Bay, Florida, her beloved nephew, Sean Guthrie of Toms River, NJ; her grandparents, William and Dorothy Stewart of Henryville, Pennsylvania, Howard and Gladys Dittus of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and her beloved dog, Miracle, who she rescued in NYC and who accompanied her on her move to Punta Gorda, Florida.

The Celebration of Life will be held on June 6, 2025, at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
