Born in Toms River, Victoria was raised in Pine Beach and was currently living in Wilmington, North Carolina. She graduated UNCW in May 2016 and was pursuing her dreams of becoming a forensic accountant. She graduated Toms River High School South in 2012 and was proud to be an Indian.
She was passionate about the beach, anything Harry Potter, soccer, hockey (NJ Devils), football (Dallas Cowboys...of course), looking for her misplaced items, making friends wherever she went and helping others. Tori loved spending time at the beach, hanging out with family and friends and spoiling her puppy, Wilson.
Tori loved being a bartender. It made her happy to make people smile and brighten their day. She started bartending at Beachwood Pub and also worked as a server at Jimbo's in Seaside, NJ. Most recently, she worked at Carolina Ale House, Deck House and City Limits Saloon in North Carolina where she made the friends that became her North Carolina family.
Tori volunteered her time at Animal Avengers of NC as a foster mom for rescue dogs (where she met Wilson), with the Surfrider Foundation restoring sand dunes, and had planned on working with the North Carolina Sea Turtle Watchers.
Victoria was pre-deceased by her grandparents, Stephen and Irene Miske and Wade Likins. Tori is survived by her loving mother, Michele Likins of Pine Beach, and her father, Stephen Likins of Oregon, her Aunt Kim and Uncle Andy Giarelli of Portland, Oregon and her Uncle Steve, Aunt Karen and her cousin, Zachary Miske of Pine Beach and her dog and loyal companion, Wilson.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Friday October 7, 2016 from 5pm-9pm at the Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street Toms River, NJ with a celebration of life to begin at 7 pm.
Tori is lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her endless compassion to help others, her positive attitude, her infectious smile, her passion to live in the moment and her confidence to pursue her dreams and encourage others to do the same.
In lieu of flowers, please volunteer or make donation in her honor to an organization that helps people or animals in need.
