

Virginia J."Gina" Kuch, 93, of Whiting, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at home. Born in Cranford, NJ to Joseph and Teofila Kuch, she lived in Westfield and St. Petersburg Fl before moving to Whiting. She retired as a secretary from Union Carbide after 35 years. A veteran of WW II, Gina served as an Army Tech Sgt and received many commendations and 5 medals, including the Bronze Star. She was a member of many organizations including the American Legion, Life Member of VFW, Women's Army Corps and the Polish Legion of America.
She is predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law Stephen and Marian Kuch and her nephews Stephen II and Joseph. Surviving are her three nephews David Kuch and his wife Cindy and their children David II and Brian; Stanley Kuch and his wife Dawn and their children Melissa and Tom Denning, Stanley Kuch and his fiancé Jessica Giglotti, Stacey and Ryan Palmieri and Kyle Kuch; and Kevin Kuch and his wife Donna and their children Meghan and Jason Figueroa and Kelsey Kuch; a niece Sue Kuch and her children Trisha and Mike Costello and Kelly and Richard Van Dyke; and her loving great grand nieces and nephews Luke, Mia,Oliva, Jason II, Keagan and Sydney.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 from 4 to 8p.m. with a prayer service at 5:30p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River.
