

He is reunited with his beloved wife Esterina Tesone Diana.
Cherished by Fred Cassano (Linda, Liam and Daniel) who was like a son to him, and Antonella Vizzini (Tony, Dante and Luca).
Adelio was born in Castiglione di Carovilli, Molise, Italy to Pietrantonio Diana and Maria Rossi Diana. Adelio is the youngest of 4 kids. He is remembered by his sister Emilia Ricci (Antonio) and cherished uncle of George, Anna and Aldo. Predeceased by his sister Maddelena Ricci (Silvio) and cherished uncle of Lucy. Predeceased by his sister Linda Di Domenico (Mario) and cherished uncle of Ugo, Pedro, Pina and Maria.
He will be missed by many other loving nieces, nephews, godchildren and extended family and friends.
He reminisced often upon the beauty of the land in Italy, his horses and the happy memories of his childhood.
After immigrating to Toronto in the early 1960s, he was employed as a mechanic for the TTC for over 30 years. Many of his co-workers became his closest friends.
He had a passion and talent for gardening. Like all aspects of his life, his garden was carefully tended to and nurtured. Fruit trees, vegetable patches and roses flourished.
Adelio was a simple, humble, generous and caring man. He took care of his dear wife Esterina, especially during her challenging years with Parkinsons, never leaving her side.
His captivating stories created smiles, laughter, tears, and inspiration. He will be held dearly in the hearts of his family and friends in Canada, Italy and abroad. A special thanks to his friends and caregivers for their care and support.
