I am saddened to learn of your mother's passing. She was a wonderfully warm lady who graciously opened her home to me when I needed a place to stay. I am glad that I had the opportunity to know her, if only for a brief time. The memory that I hold most dearly is listening to her play the piano and the lovely way that the music filled the house. I remember when she had her vacation, she really loves gardening. And she always watch her diet. I also remembered she always send us Christmas gifts/toys even when we seldom write to her.. A very kind and intelligent aunt. I am sure she had a very meaningful life. Joyce and Melodee are very lucky to have her as their mother.....

Dear Joyce,John, Melodee and Sarafina,

Ate Dely was the closest relative to us and now that she's gone I hope the rest of the family will remain as close as ever.

I remember the last time I saw her and that was decades ago, she was a jolly person, so lively and so friendly and very energetic and always on the go and the last time I've spoken with her on the phone was when her bother Junior died and she was asking me to come over to Canada to visit her and said I need to make it the soonest I can, cause she was already on medication due to her illness, so sad I was not able to make it and see her. 

She never forgot to send Christmas cards to all of us her relatives here in the Philippines, and only lately she missed because of her illness.
She was always on my thoughts, and now that she's gone, her memory will stay with us. I hope she's resting peacefully now together with Cecil and our Lord in heaven.

My hugs and kisses to all of you and may the good Lord above watch and keep you always. 

We will really miss you ate Dely.

Dear Joyce, John, Melodee and Sarafina,

I have very clear memories of your parents' gentleness from when I came to visit. 

Dely always made me laugh. My favorite memory of her is when I was staying over at your house on my birthday. When I got up in the morning and went down to the kitchen, Dely sang , with a great grin on her face, "Hippo Bridie two ewes...". I always remember that.

I also remember the road trip with Cecil to go get Joyce somewhere (don't remember the place). He told me stuff about Canada I didn't know then, since I was a new arrival. It was lots of fun!

I like to think that Cecil and Dely are now together again and youthful. They will always watch over you. I send you all my most heartfelt hugs, and my thoughts are with you all during your grief. I wish I could be there in person.

Dely, it was sure nice knowing you. I'm glad I got to spend time with you. Thanks for taking care of me whenever I was at your house.
