Albert Raymond Laford

We are sad to announce the unexpected passing of Albert Laford in his home in Toronto, Ontario on August 5, 2023. at the young age of 41. Predeceased by his father Albert Laford and older sister Winona.

Albert leaves behind his loving mother Gerri Laford, and 1 granddaughter Amiyah and 2 sons.

Albert loved his 2 boys Malcolm and Kyle and granddaughter Amiyah. He was very proud of the men they have become and was proud to be their dad.

Albert will be missed beyond measure by his siblings Mark & Saya, Abby & Randy, Star, and Raymond, he was the baby.

Albert was the best uncle to Raven, Justice, Lexus, Marcus Jayden, Tia & Trey, Zachary, Trinity, Tessa, Nevaeh, Angela, and Katrina.

Albert also leaves behind many extended family members and close friends who were family including- cuzzins Koka, Sonya, Andy, Gerik, Natalia, special aunt Bernice, uncles and the bonus nieces and nephews who loved uncle Alb.

Albert was very creative; he loved to draw and create crafts with his mum making chokers and dreamcatchers. Albert was a man of many skills, working in roofing, heating venting and air conditioning and was an amazing cook, making a variety of dishes that caught his attention.

Albert had the biggest heart and enjoyed his vodka too much!! He loved to be outside hanging out with his homies- they know who they are.

Don’t cry for Albert, he is happily reunited his father who most definitely had a fresh cold beer ready for him. He is free from all the things he never spoke about and is now flying free in the sky, forever in our hearts and memories. Hold them tight and don’t forget the good times you spent with Albert; he most definitely loved you!!

Albert will be missed by many and was loved by many more.

A visitation for Albert will be held Thursday August 17, 2023. 11am at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel, 467 Sherbourne Street, Toronto, ON M4X1K5, followed by a funeral service at 12:30pm.
