Mr. Alexander William Lingard

Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, on Tuesday January 10, 2012, in his 90th year. Beloved husband for 62 years to Joan. Loving father of Heather (Stan Mantle) and Sue (Mike Dempsey). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Sandy (Kagan), Suzy, Andrew (Bethany), Michelle (Doug), Scott (Natalie) and the late Mark. Also survived by his great grandchildren Islay, Ruby, Owen and Taylor. Dear brother of Ron (Kathleen) and the late Frances. Friends may call at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at BLYTHWOOD ROAD BAPTIST CHURCH (80 Blythwood Road, east of Yonge St.) at 11:00 o’clock. Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
