I remember meeting Al for the first time when i was 10 years old, thrilled to meet a fellow airplane nut.  We spent an afternoon at the picnic table, putting together a model Kingfisher float plane.  I'll miss him.

Jan and Family, I'm so sorry to hear about Al.I can't imagine that he is gone. I loved his quiet spirit and good nature even though he was struggling with his illness. I have such fond memories of us talking on the lawns and the street of Highland Cres.or in our homes. Often he would lie down on the grass as we gabbed away. I also remember how he used to decorate for Halloween. The house has never looked so scary since you left Cambridge. We will truly miss his as he was one of the very good people in life. Our Deepest sympathy, We'll miss you Al.

Looking at old pictures of all the great times we had together reminded me of all the love Al brought to our family. I'll be thinking about Al a lot tomorrow and send my love to Jan, Gwen, Owen and their families.

Our condolences to Jan and the family on the passing of Al so suddenly.  He was a great guy and a giant in the model building community.   Many still have very fond memories of him and Classy Chassis.  I loved working with him and Jan and would be at the memorial except I have to work on Saturday all day at the store (Forbes Hobbies). Memories of all of us at Classy Chassis will never be forgotten, you were a joy to work for and a man I admired and respected.....

We shall miss you Al, but you will not be forgotten. Held in our minds and on the ends of models boxes. When I see Classy Chassis on a kit box I know you are still about. Arthur Hill and Pauline Creedy.

Al will always be remembered for his love of building the most difficult model kits and for making them look great!  The words "Are you a kit assembler or a modeller?" will forever be with us.  He left us too soon, but will always be with us.
