Alice Fairney died peacefully on November 30, 2023 at the age of 84, from injuries sustained after an unfortunate fall a few days before. Born April 21, 1939 in the City of Toronto. Daughter of John and Elizabeth Fairney, sister of Ray And John. Of English and Irish stock, Alice was a lifetime Toronto resident, a lifelong Bell Canada Employee and a well known figure at Branch 22 of the Royal Canadian Legion. She will be missed and fondly remembered by many. Visitation will be on December 20, 2023 at Giffen Mack Funeral home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, from 1-3 pm. A Royal Canadian Legion service will take place in the visitation room at 2:30pm, followed by a Catholic service in the Funeral Parlour Chapel. A ceremony of life will take place afterwards at the Royal Canadian legion Branch 22 at 1240 Woodbine Ave.
