Amilcare Capone

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Nonno, and Bisnonno, Amilcare Capone. Amilcare Capone was born on July 23, 1937 in Pratola Serra, Avellino, Italy and was called to God’s kingdom on March 15, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 85 years. He has been reunited with his Father Marco, his Mother Consiglia, his siblings Giuseppe, Amelia, Massimino and Ferruccio, and his Son Marco in Heaven. Amilcare will be dearly missed by his wife Maria, they were married for over 64 years. He is the loving Father of Ferruccio, Connie (Donato), Diana (Amedeo), Marco (Anna), and Ada (Paul, recently passed). Cherished Nonno of Valerie (Richard), Stefania (Carlos), Vince (Daniela), Amanda (Dave), Nadia (Ryley), Alyssa, and Michael (Casey). Amilcare had the honor of being a bisnonno to 11 beautiful children. He will be dearly missed by his great grandchildren; Aliyah, Adriana, Gian Carlo, Luca, Cristian, Dante, Danny, Gabriel, Jacob, Emily and Leah. He also leaves behind his Sister Ida. He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his family and friends. Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so. The Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 10:30am at St. Clares Church, 1118 St. Clare Ave. W. (On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 15 minutes prior to the service, this will allow the family some private time prior to the service) Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W. In Lieu of Flowers, donations in Memory of Amilcare Capone may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or Good Shepherd Ministries.
