Analia leaves behind the love of her life, her devoted husband, Manuel. She was a proud and loving mother to Arlindo (Michele), Helder (Marlene), Izalino, and David (Cristina), and a cherished grandmother to Julian, Logan, and Katrina.
Analia was born on the island of Terceira, Azores, Portugal, where her first two children, Arlindo and Helder, were also born. Following a major earthquake in the 1980s that caused widespread
destruction and severely damaged her family home, Analia and her husband made the courageous decision to immigrate to Canada in search of a better future. It was there that Izalino and David were born, and where Analia held everyone together with love, strength, and devotion.
Analia found joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She loved to cook and bake for her family, filling her home with warmth, comfort, and the aromas of meals made with love. She rarely missed her favorite novelas and enjoyed watching that with her husband on a daily basis. Her greatest happiness came from spending endless time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and unconditionally. Her grandchildren fondly remember her playful spirit, especially the way she would lovingly tease their grandfather during family gatherings, bringing laughter and joy to everyone around her.
She will be remembered as a caring and gentle person who will be dearly missed by all of her family, relatives, and friends. She will forever hold a very special place in our hearts.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Analia’s honour.
May she rest in peace.
