It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved Anthony passed away suddenly on Saturday March 9, 2024. Our gentle giant entered the world on October 17, 1990 and eventually grew into size 15 shoes. Anyone who knew Anthony always commented on what a nice guy he was and how he had such a big heart. He was generous, he loved giving gifts to those who were meaningful in his life. He loved to laugh. It was fun to watch him snicker with wide-eyed amusement and when you ran into him he would take the time to greet you with a mischievous grin that made you wonder what he was up to. Anthony grew up and lived in the Dufferin and St.Clair neighborhood. He attended R.W. Scott, Oakwood Collegiate and eventually graduated from Monsignor Fraser College. Anthony struggled with some of the choices he made in the last decade of his life and though it was painful to watch, those who truly loved him were never unwavering with their love, support and encouragement. Anthony was determined to overcome and persevere. He was so proud to obtain his Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship Level 1 and briefly worked at Honda and Speedy. He completed training as a concrete finisher and had been accepted by LiUNA Local 506. A few weeks before his passing he was happy about a job opportunity with Local 183 that came with benefits. He was supposed to begin work next month. He was going to take care of his Ma. This is a testament to those who believed in him. Words can not adequately express the void he has left behind. The emptiness has impacted many. But none more than his Ma, Grace Suarez, who loved him unconditionally, was always by his side and there with him on his last day. Anthony is survived by his Pa (Luis Suarez). He is deeply missed by his father Humberto, and his siblings Sebastian and Frankie. He is deeply missed by his mother Adelina, and his siblings Orlando and Desiree. Although he was truly our little brother, he is the cherished nephew of Heleno Suarez (Deborah) and Miguel Suarez (Lori). He is survived by his uncle Manuel and many cousins. Anthony adored his cats Lola and Simba. They wait for him by his doorway.
Though your time with us was brief Anthony, we are thankful. We miss you. We love you.
May almighty God give us strength as we adjust to life without you.
“ Peace and Love”, Anthony
