She has been reunited in Heaven with our loving father Giuseppe Villani, her adored parents Filomena and Giuseppe Gianfrancesco and all those before her.
She will wait for we are her ever loving children, Pasquale, Tony (Tessie), Connie, Angelo, her adored grandchildren Joanne (Khai), Nicole, Jeffery, Rosanna, Jonathan, Victoria, Angela and her great grandchild Colton.
Mom began her life on the beautiful mountainside town of Letino, in Campania part of Caserta, Italy. It was there she and dad dreamed of a better life as big as their love and braved seven years apart to build that life, for themselves and more importantly for their growing family. Finally In 1959, her two small boys, her mother and then a pregnant Antonietta crossed the Atlantic Ocean to Halifax, Canada. We moved into the two story home on St. Clarens Avenue in Toronto and there she lived for 62 years, raised four children, cared for her mother and for a time her mother in-law and many people who needed help from time to time for one reason or another, she was unselfish with her time and the little she had.
A devout catholic, she faithfully attended her beloved church St. Mary’s and later the newly built Saint Nicholas of Bari Parish. Her deep faith was a part of everything she did, the way she loved us, how she tended her garden, her love of cooking or spending time with friends; it was ever-present.
Known as the small lady with a big heart. Mom had a powerful magnetic aura, she exuded joy, playful sweetness and unselfish with her love, she made those around her feel special and truly loved.
She lovingly shared her words of wisdom with us;
“Do some good and forget it, do something bad and remember it always.”
Ti volio sempre bene mia carrisima mamma.
