It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Antonio Antoniani, on April 29, 2026, at the age of 91. Antonio was born on May 27, 1934 in Prossedi, Latina, Italy before immigrating to Canada in April of 1958.
Antonio is survived by his beloved wife of 70 years, Lina. He was a loving father to Dino (Michelle) and Joanne (John). His influence lives on in his grandchildren, Andrew (Morgan), Heather (Alex), Anthony (Emily), and Matthew (Liana), and great-grandchildren, Ada, Makenna, and Ellie.
He spent his life working with his hands in service of others; from his days in construction, to building his beautiful home in North York, to his garden that fed the mouths of so many family and friends, he was a masterful labourer and steward of the land.
For those who would like to make a donation in Antonio’s name, they can be made to the Lung Association of Canada. The family thanks you for your love and support in their time of sorrow.
