Assunta Baldesarra (nee Di Pucchio), passed away peacefully on Monday December 30, 2019. Loving wife to the late Vincenzo, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Teresa, and sister Irma (Benedetto). She was a loving mother to John and Joe (Kate) and beloved nonna to Leo. She is survived by her sisters Annunziata (the late Pasquale), Vincenza (Umberto), and brother Franco (Luciana). She will be held dear in the hearts of her late brothers-in-law Gaetano (Nadia), Carlo (the late Elena) and surviving brothers-in-law Antonio (Filomena), Giuseppe and sister-in-law Santina (the late Alessandro) along with many nieces and nephews both in Toronto and in Italy. Assunta was kind, friendly and a generous woman. We shall miss her very much. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation, to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the William Osler Health System would be appreciated by the family.

My beautiful Zia . Rest In Peace . You were like a mother to me and raised Rob and I when we were little. The memories I have of those times I hold so dear . Losing you is painful and I miss you so much . Every time I saw you I told you I loved you and I always will .
