Loving Husband to Donna Marie (Gracey) and Step Dad to Cole, Tammy and granddad to Darcy and Myles. Barry also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Debbie and niece Shana and nephew, Shawn. Barry is predeceased by his father Laurie Allan, his mother Lorraine (Pace) and brother, Allan Leigh. Barry was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and graduated from St. Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Barry was a long time dedicated employee of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind/Vision Loss Rehab Canada. Barry liked to have a good laugh and at times was also a risk taker. Like the time he went to New Zealand and bungee jumping off a bridge off of a mountain and then skydived in the afternoon, as well as marrying Donna... All were successful!
A visitation for Barry will be held Monday, August 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Jerrett Funeral Homes, 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON M1K2B5, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toronto Humane Society, or animal shelter of your choice
