Benito Petruzzo

It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father Benito Petruzzo on November 30, 2024, at the age of 86. Surrounded by the love of his family, he passed peacefully after a life filled with joy and accomplishment.

Born May 12, 1938 in Gesualdo, Avellino, Italy he leaves behind his devoted wife of 59 years, Lucia Petruzzo, his sons, Vince Petruzzo and Tony Petruzzo, his daughter-in-law, Marisa Petruzzo wife of Tony Petruzzo and his beloved grandchildren, Ben and Matteo Petruzzo. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Benito was more than just a successful businessman; he was a man of unwavering integrity, a pillar of strength for his family and a friend to all who were fortunate enough to know him. Known for his tireless work ethic, Benito was equally admired for his kind heart, infectious smile and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He always made time for those he loved, leaving a legacy of warmth, generosity and countless cherished memories. His passion for real-estate brought him joy throughout his life. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A visitation for Benito will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St Clair Ave West, Toronto, on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas of Bari Catholic Church, 1277 St Clair Ave W, Toronto. Entombement to follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E 1C6.
