Bernadette:
When I went to your facebook page, at first I didn't understand what I was reading. It sounded like someone passed away but I didn't realize it was you. I was in disbelief and couldn't believe it. Total shocking, sad news. I have fond memories of you and times spent with your family. You were kind and had a smile that lit up the room.
With deepest condolences to all of your family. You are now an angel and are with your father, mother and brother, Sean. You will always be a part of Jim, Carol, Marty, Michelle, Austin and Joshua. May God bless your soul.

Bernadette it's your time to soar in spirit, I could state all the sad phrases of sympathy and leave it at that, no I won't, clearly it's time to celebrate. I raise my hands in celebration for you and say thank you Jesus for coming through. You came in alone Bernadette and look! you left us alone but we know truly who was by your side in spirit and took you by the hand leading you into eternity and there you are. How can I be sad, we'll miss you and remember you as I remember our conversations. Passed on, crossing over leaving the woes of earth behind, how delightful that final stage of life has come and gone. Congratulations to you Bernadette. Michelle & Josh, Carol, Jim and Marty sadness prevails, I know that's true, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I'm still in shock.
I remember our trip to Ireland, week ends at Chipper's cottage, the exhibition & Ontario Place, getting kicked out of the ROM for touching the exhibits, celebrating New year's eve 2000 in Florida, your great spaghetti dinner that left our kitchen like a bomb had hit it ☺, Niagara Falls, St. Patrick's Day at some pub you and Booty took me to and Booty had her wallet stolen & then found in the men's washroom, you trying to teach me to swim at the pool in Carol & Ced's building, BINGO with you and cousin Danny when he visited from England and so much more.
Unfortunately, the last time I saw you was at Gran's funeral and had only spoken with you since then. Our plans to see you never happened as your health deteriorated, but we had the occasional email or call.
I loved you very much Bern & I'm sorry you're gone, but I'm glad you're no longer suffering.
God bless you Bern...thanks for being an awesome aunt...I love you.

You are going to be missed Bernadette, I'm beating myself up right now, because I was in Toronto dropping my son of boxing day, and was going to drop in and say hi, but oh no, I'm always in a hurry, I did not want to drive 3 hours home in the dark. I wish I had. I'm so sorry. We had some great great times together, with your family and our friends. We were always doing something, weather it be camping or bringing your family from Ireland to Niagara falls or checking out new bars, like the picture below, I remember that nite , like it was yesterday 1982 New Years Eve, with Joan, Sue you , Ann and me...there was phones on the table, it was a pick up joint....lol (across from the chicken deli) I do not remember the name of it, but we seemed to hang out there. Your in heaven with Nick now, and your Dad & Mom, and brother Shaun. Rest in peace my friend , no more suffering. I love you and you will never be forgotten.
