I don't have a memory of you Blaine. My heart breaks that you left this earth before I could find you. I'm your older sister and I wish we could have known eachother.

I just heard. Such a shame. I always thought Blaine was a very decent (and talented) human being. You could hear the decency in his voice ... He'll not be forgotten, I can assure you, as long as I survive ... 

"I met him by pure luck at that time he was working at Lawn Sale for U OF T bookstore. We link up next thing I know I was doing interview with all kind of Canadian bands. We decide to write a script for 13 episodes . He was thinking to push it on the net or on Rogers Community TV . He came OUT with an other idea "THE PROMOTER" everything you touch is gold Blaine Johnson I guess you still have your bike i don't see it anymore... xx

It's still very difficult to put into words how much your friendship meant to me and so many others. I will forever hold onto the many happy and wonderful memories of our 35 year friendship, beginning with our childhood on St.Helens Ave to our adulthood. I will never forget, but always miss your beautiful face, your precious smile and the spark in your eyes. You definitely left a "marc" in many people's lives. I love and miss you always. My heartfelt condolences to your beautiful daughter Khadeijah and to your family, whom already miss you dearly.

His honesty and true passion will never be forgotten.

I met Blaine in my late teens, perhaps early twenties way back when he worked at Courage My Love in the market. Such a beautiful face & soul, he always greeted me with a smile & helped me out when I was hanging around. Our paths continued to cross over the years. Your beauty will be forever missed but never forgotten. Our heart goes out to you & your family,..especially your daughter. From my husband Dan who also knew you well, our daughter & myself, Erin. When I think about Blaine, my thoughts always seem to go back to one particular time, way back before the TV shows and CrazyHead Studios - hanging out, watching movies downstairs at St. Helen's. There was always the obligatory bite from Blaine's cat Monkey. Monkey hated everybody. I can't count how many times that cat bit me. But when Blaine would pick him up he would turn into a purring kitten. Then there was Chaz the mangy alley cat, with half an ear missing and so many battle scars he would make Mohammed Ali look like a wimp. Chaz would sneak in the window to eat and then head back out to wander the alleys at Landsdowne and Bloor. Blaine's grandmother was always up in the front room on the main floor and once in a while you'd hear her yell out "Blaine" in her thick Jamaican accent. Blaine would jump up and go upstairs to see what she needed. One of our favourite movies was Heaven by Diane Keaton. We must of watched that movie 20 times but each time we watched it we would laugh and cry just as much as we did the time before. I will never forget those nights on St. Helen's, with all of the gang, and everyone else that entered that welcoming door, in that simple little house, with the big warm heart...they are emblazoned on my mind eternally, just like Blaine's unique laugh, his big smile and his happy, sparkling beautiful brown eyes. We are all going to miss you so much Blaine, more than you could ever have imagined

Blaine was our promoter and our friend. He was a pillar in the Toronto music scene and loved fiercely by many Toronto musicians. He was one of the most kind, thoughtful and considerate people I've ever met, treating even new associates like old friends from the get-go and attacking each show with a positive enthusiasm that could not be matched. I will miss Blaine so much. WE will miss him. The world is much poorer without him. Our hearts are broken for Blaine's beloved family.
