My prayers for Brian, Minerva and his family remembering his passion for  social justice. He worked very hard to save working skills centre during 2004 and 2005. He successfully saved the centre and helped immigrant and social assistance clients to obtain employment and enjoy normal life.

Bri was a big-hearted guy with big ideas.  I had many, many great adventures with Bri.  He made me mad sometimes, but, man, he made me laugh.  To Karna, kids, and loved ones . . . my most heartfelt thoughts are with you.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and condolences.  His humour and smarts were a strenght for us all. He will be missed.

My prayers for Brian

My thoughts and prayers are with you Minerva and the rest of the family. All of us in some way his family as Brian's ability to make you feel a useful part of a community was inspirational, his ability to see both sides of the story is always something I will remember and his legacy certainly to the communities he lived in. Thank you Brian.

When I was Minister of Youth in the Mulroney government, Brian  was a most joyful member of my Cabinet. His grin, his sense of humor, his devotion to young Canadians will be remembered by all of us who had the pleasure of workiing with him. To you all who loved him and to all of you that were loved,by this wonderful man, our most sincere sympathy.

There is an old saying that it is not what you take with you, it is what you leave behind.  Brian leaves the communities of Riverdale and Leslieville as better places than before he took up residence here. He was a mentor and support to his many friends and that will also be his legacy. As kids, at 5 years his junior, there was never a dull moment growing up with Brian.  Like the time he taught me how to Box,  he had me use the soft boxing gloves while he used the old (rock hard) hockey gloves with the wooden thumbs.  I learned how to take a punch.
Brian, you were my big brother back in those days and I will always remember you for your wit, kind heart and many life lessons.

My thoughts are with you, Howard and Mary. I remember Brian as a child in Chateauguay. It seems unfair to have to lay to rest your only child.
